Simikot Kailash Zhangmu Tour is one of the popular tours in Tibet. Simikot Kailash Zhangmu Tour allows superb Himalayan scenery including the Mt. Everest , Holy Himalaya Mt. Kailash, ancient cities beautiful landscape and Tibetan monasteries. Simikot Kailash Zhangmu Tour was opened in 1993 for travelers. It is the shortest and most practical tour for trekkers in terms of both elevation and distance. The tour starts from Simikot, which is situated at an elevation of 2910 meters, and climbs up to Na-Lagna pass (4330 meters) before reaching the arid Tibetan Plateau. From Simikot, it is a 6-day journey to reach the Tibetan border town, which is plenty of time to be acclimatized to high altitude. There is no direct air service from Kathmandu to Simikot, so travelers generally have to fly to Simikot via Nepalgunj, the regional hub of Western Nepal. The Nepalgunj-Simikot flight operates early in the morning, so we must stay a night in Nepalgunj to catch the flight the next day. 

Day 1:Kathmandu to Nepalgunj Flight                                                                                                                                   It takes about an hour to reach Nepalgunj from Kathmandu. It is burgeoning city in the western Terai  region of Nepal. From hill- surrounded Kathmandu to all Plain Nepal. You will experience the difference in climate, temperature and lifestyle . Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2:Nepalgunj to Simikot (2,910m) Flight, trek from Simikot to Dharapori (2,360m) Trek 6 Km 02 -03 hour Trek      The flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot is an exciting mountain flight, Offering great views of the Himalayan mountain. It takes about 45 minutes to land in Simikot ,the district headquarter  one of the remotes district of Nepal. The Culture and lifestyle here bear the striking similarity to that of Tibet. Take a sumptuous lunch at Simikot and then walk to Dharapuri to spend your night there.

Day 3:Trek from Dharapori to SalliKhola (2700m) 12 Km, 06- 07 hour Trek                                                                        The hike is reasonably convenient as far as Kermi, Where you can find two natural hot springs . We walk past this village , go up through sparsely treed pine forest , reach salli la Pass at and altitude of 2990m and go down reach SalliKhola (a small Stream) to Spend our night at its bank.

Day 4:Trek From SalliKhola to Tumkot  (3073m) 10Km , 05 – 06 hour Trek                                                                         Among the highlights of today’s trekNamkhaKhyungDzongMonestery. Trees  become sparse as we gain altitude. Finallly, we go across the Karnali River through a suspension bridge and reach  Muchu For our night stopover.

Day 5:Trek from Tumkot to Sipsip or ThadeDhunga (4300m) 10 Km, 05 – 06 hours Trek ,                                                From Muchu we climb down to Tumkot, visit the DhungkarChoezam and climb up towards Yari. We walk through the treeless Himalayan treeless Himalayan Terrian ,going up and up until we reach Sip Sip . We will overnight at Sip Sip.

Day 6:Trek From SipsiporThadeDhunga  via Hilsa (4300m) to Taklakot (3,772) 08 Km Trek 01 Hour drive                    The highest point of the trek is reached today at Nara La Pass(4,580m)As we continue the journey downwards on the other side of the pass, enjoy the lofty panorama of the Tibetan Plateau . Walking past Ranipauwa then we reach Hilsa and Drive to Taklakot. Overnight at Taklakot.

Day 7:Rest day at Taklakot.(3,772m)                                                                                                                                      Stay overnight here for body acclimatization in high altitude. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8:Taklakot to Manasarovar (4550m)  88 Km ,02 – 03 hours drive ,                                                                              After breakfast we start drive to reach one of the holy and beautiful lake “MANASAROVER” 4550M ELECATION . It is 88 Km distance from Taklakot to Manasarover , and will take maximum 2 hours. One the way, there is another lake called RAKAS Lake we stop there for picture and enjoy the view few minute . Then continue drive to Manasarover . When we reach there, check in guest house some rest. Meanwhile lunch will be ready , after lunch , start drive for MansarovarKora with Vehicle .

Day 9:Manasarovar exploration and drive to Darchen (4575m)                                                                                        Exploration and ritual puja at bank of Lake Manasarovar .  After lunch drive to Darchen . Preparation for KailashKora, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10:Darchen to Start inner Kora via Asthapath, Nandi, Parvat, Atmalingam,                                                           Saptarishi cave and KuberKunda , Then reach in Dhirapuk (4,920m) 7 -8 hour trek. Overnight at Guest House .

Day 11:Derapuk to Zuthulpuk (4820m) 18 Km , 8 -9 hours                                                                                                                                    Today early morning have a breakfast and ready to walk long, hardest up and down. Our Staff provides you packed lunch before start the walk, Few hour walking is going up till DolmalaPass(5,613m), this is our main destination of KailashKora. When we reach on the top of pass, take some picture and start to walk down as soon as possible , after few meters walking , there is Gaurikunda situated on the right and 200 meter down from the our trail. Continue walk down around 2 hours , we will meet flat trail and continue walking until Zuthulpuk.

Day 12:Zuthulpuk Via Darchen(4575Km) 7 Km Trek , 5 Km Driving ,                                                                              After breakfast trek 7 Km to Zongto where you can take bus to Darchen. Along the Kora  you can see piles of Mani Stones. We will finish the trek. Overnight at Guest House .

Day 13:Darchen to Saga (4,600m) 420 Km 06 - 07 hour drive.                                                                                         After breakfast drive Saga the stunning view of the saga valley between Gangdise range and Himalayan range , cross the Mayomla Pass(5,112m), Far view of the Mt. Naimonanyi(7,694m). Overnight at Hotel .

Day 14:Saga to Kerung(2,850m) 220Km 05 – 06 hour drive.                                                                                            After breakfast drie to Kerung on the way you will enjoy the view of beautiful snow capped mountain and evergreen forest as you pass TonglaPass(5,100m), You will appropriate the epic mountain view of himalayan ranges . Overnight at Hotel .

Day 15:Kerung to Kathmandu 165Km , 7 -8 hour drive.                                                                                                  After breakfast process all necessary formalities for cross the border, then drive to Kathmandu.
